A quotation you like…

Anything less than your best is to Sacrifice the Gift.  Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
Why do you run?

I love to run because it gives me an excuse to eat what I want after I have finished, I love to run with a friends and gives me a chance to meet new running friends as my journey comes along.   Also I like to challenge myself.

Describe your best marathon memory.

My marathon PR at the ORRRC Marathon.  A friend and I went to the race that morning because it was only 35 minutes away.  I saw a friend of mine who would end up winning the race that day and I knew I was going to have a good day.  My goal was to run between a 4:15-4:20 and I ended up running a 4:11:23.  Everything went right for me that day.
Why do you pace?

Because I love to see the look on people’s faces when they reach their goals.  I love the opportunity to give back to running for what it has given me.
Tell us your best pacing experience.

At the Kalamazoo Marathon, I ran with 2 other co-pacers and the runners in my group were a lot of fun because they laughed at my jokes because it seems my jokes are bad. I had about 5 or 6 people come up to me after the marathon and thank me for getting them to the finish because of my songs and jokes.
Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because I attempt to be funny.  I am a lot of fun. I have been at where most runners are.  I usually give good tips; I tend to talk in an Australian accent.
Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Bring a water bottle, or bottled water, expect to have fun.  Ask questions,
Anything else you’d like to share?
Have fun out there, running is the best sport in the world.  It’s a great way to spend a weekend and sight see on foot.
