"I run so my goals in life will continue to get bigger instead of my belly." -Bill Kirby

Why do you run?

It is important to balance my love of tacos with some sort of physical activity and I’m not coordinated enough for team sports.

Describe your best marathon memory.

In the course of running my PR at the time in Chicago, I was passed at mile 22 by a man with no shoes on.  He was also juggling.

Why do you pace?

The way I see it, if you’re going to be running on a given day, why not do it with a bunch of new faces in new places?

Tell us your best pacing experience.

While pacing a friend in the Berlin Marathon to her first BQ time, watching her and friends we had made along the way go from questioning if they had enough left to finding another gear as soon as the Brandenburg gates come into sight is my favorite pacing memory.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Unlike your GPS, I won’t get you lost on the way and you’ll probably be on time.
