Pacers never lie…we just make you believe what is possible.

Personal goals

I would like to break 24 hours in a 100 miler.  I would also like to run Badwater.

Why do you run?

I run and race to constantly challenge myself to rise to the next level.

Describe your best marathon memory.

At the Rio Del Lago 100 in 2008, everything came together for a 3+ hour PR – hydration, fueling, pacing, focus – despite temps over 100 degrees.  It was a great day!

Why do you pace?

I have had so many people help me achieve my goals throughout my running career.  Pacing is a way that I can help others on the way to achieving their goals.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Watching the runners from my pace group cross the finish line is the best experience.  Especially the runners I know have worked really hard for that finish.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Running with others who have similar goals for the event is a good way to stay focused on the job at hand.  My job is to keep you on an even pace and remind you to fuel and hydrate - your job is to trust in your training, run, and have fun.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Run within yourself and it will pay dividends.
