Why do you run?

I get such a sense of accomplishment from running.  Being able to set short and long term goals and realize them when I didn’t think it was possible.  Oh, and I love the body transformation aspect too!

Describe your best marathon memory.

Crossing the finish line knowing I had qualified to run the Boston Marathon and friends waiting to celebrate with me!

Why do you pace?

Looking to give back and help others experience some of the wonderful racing moments I’ve experienced!

Tell us your best pacing experience.

When I talked with a runner at the expo and she told me about her training and I felt she was prepared to run with me at 4:45 but as a first time marathoner she felt more comfortable at 5:00 so I said then start there and if you are not comfortable there and you know it is too slow then catch up to me and we’ll take it from there.  Well at mile 7-8ish here she comes and not only did she stay with me she found another gear at mile 23ish and pulled away from me and finished strong about .2 of a mile ahead of me with me cheering for her from behind the rest of the way….that was my first time pacing and I was hooked!!

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I have a coaching spirit and a desire to see everyone accomplish their athletic goals!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Come physically & mentally prepared and enjoy the race…..it’s yours!
