What are you reading now?

Is it too soon to read Harry Potter again?

Who do you train with?

My runners, club, and friends.

Personal goals

Sub 4 ...in the mile

A quotation you like…

Run fast, turn left.

Why do you run?

Running to things or from things, comes down to the day.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Unofficially pacing my friend to his first BQ at Steamtown. We ran a 15 minute negative split.

Why do you pace?

I ran my first BQ with a pace team; running with a group is always more fun. It's one way I can help give back to a sport that gives me so much.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I recently was the rabbit for a sub 4 minute mile. The original rabbit had to leave and I was hanging out in the parking lot, I volunteered myself, and before I knew it was running with National Champs and Olympic Trials qualifiers. The winner of the race just broke 4. He went on a few weeks later and just missed the 10k for the olympics.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I know a lot of crazy runners, and have a lot of crazy stories to tell. I'll hold down a solid groove for everyone, so you can focus on the running. Let me worry about the time.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

The marathon is about the work the goes in before the race. The race itself should be the fun part! Don't cut corners, get in your long runs. If you show up prepared, smile.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Do your long runs!

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I try to give back to the running community as much as possible.
