Why do you run?

 

Initially I started running to get in shape, now for my daily “alone” time and stress relief

 

Describe your best marathon memory.

 

Des Moines 2010 which I went into with mediocre training and with no expectations and ended up running nearly even splits and had a great run with a very respectable time.

 

Why do you pace?

 

I enjoy helping other and am looking forward to giving back to other runners

First time, so I’m hoping it will be Fargo Half 2011

 

Why should someone run in your pace group?

 

To have fun and hit your goal on race day

 

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

 

Put in your miles during training

Married to Michele who for some reason puts up with my obsessive behavior during taper weeks

 

What philanthropic activities do you have?

Volunteer coach for my sons’ soccer and basketball teams, member of School Advisory Committee at sons school
