Describe your best marathon memory.

I was training for an ultra marathon while I was stationed in New Jersey, and then before the race, I was notified that I was getting deployed.  I ended up running the same ultra distance on the day of the event, but I did it in Iraq with full body armour.

Why do you pace?

I enjoy helping others meet their goals, and I like being a part of their victories.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

It wasn’t for a marathon, but I paced a blind man during a 10 miler.  I was so honored and humbled to have been a part of such an experience.  Not only did he make his goal, but he outsprinted me to the finish line.
