Why do you run?
I love running; for me, it’s like breathing—an essential, daily ritual that no longer needs a reason. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
In 2017, with the blue-and-yellow Boston Marathon finish arch just 0.2 miles ahead, I collapsed, unable to feel anything; a fellow runner and an EMC worker lifted me, helped me cross the line, and saved my life. This is my “worst” marathon, yet the best marathon story I’ll ever tell. |
Why do you pace?
I have run the Chicago Marathon 8 times, the Boston Marathon 8 times, and the New York Marathon twice, and have been an avid runner for over 13 years. I would love the opportunity to bring my enthusiasm and experience to support the runners aiming to achieve their personal goals. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
I enjoyed every race I paced, especially pacing with my daughter—meeting new friends, running together, encouraging and cheering them on, and celebrating at the finish. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I have a deep passion for pacing, and I have paced more than 50 events, including the London Marathon. I truly enjoy the responsibility and teamwork as a pacer. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Trust your training, keep your rhythm, enjoy your running. One step at a time, drink water as planned, we will make our goal and celebrate together at finish line. |

I have achieved overall first place and broken course records in the 24-hour ultra running race twice, as well as achieved overall first place and broke the course record in the 8-hour ultra running race. I currently hold five course records in various ultra-running events.
