A quotation you like…

There are many challenges to long distance running, but one of the greatest is the question of where to put one’s house keys.” – Gabrielle Zevin

Why do you run?

For comradery with other runners, and the health/stress-relieving benefits are a plus too.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Have yet to have a good marathon experience, but one of my best racing memories was rounding the final corner of the Indy Monumental Half and seeing 1:26:xx on the clock, thinking it had to be a mistake, but then realizing I had beat my stretch goal by 3 minutes.

Why do you pace?

I have greatly appreciated the help of pacers over the years and I love being able to do the same for others.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Don’t know if I have a single favorite, but being alongside and encouraging others as they set new PRs is always one of the highlights of running for me.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

It may come in the form of dumb jokes, but I will do my best to keep the environment fun and give you something to distract your mind.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Resolve to enjoy the experience as best you can and keep looking at your watch/phone to a minimum
