Tell us your best pacing experience.
My first half marathon on a course, I paced, and helping those in my pacing group accomplish their PRs was very rewarding. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Accurate splits/finish, good energy, mental hurdle navigation. “You do a really good job of pacing with how you were checking on us keeping everyone together and not over the top in your cheering”. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Have fun! |

Anything else you’d like to share? |
Other than a spartan race I did weekend warrior style with zero training; I have never been a runner. On Sat, Sep 24, 2022, I felt like going for a run and ran 5 miles at a 12’12”/mi pace. Last week (3/20/23-3/26/23), I ran 70 miles and now, my easy runs are done at a ~8’30”/mi pace. I am self-taught, lost 30 pounds and continue to improve just by putting in the work. If I can do it, so can you. |
