Why do you run?

I started running as a motivation to lose weight. Now it’s become a huge addiction of mine. It’s my therapy |

I am very competitive when it comes to racing, pacing is a way not only to slow myself down but to help motivate and help others achieve their goals |

I can’t just pick one, but helping someone finish their first marathon puts a smile on my face. I’ve been there too; I wish I had that encouragement. |

I will get you to the finish on time, but expect to laugh a little. |

I’m the Chapter leader for a Moms Running Club Called Moms Run this Town for the City of Kennesaw.

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I work with Flashes of Hope a non-profit organization dedicated to creating uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses. I apply makeup before the portraits are taken, I may even blow some bubbles in between flashes. J
