Why do you run?
I run not only for personal goals of maintaining good health and being confident about my own body, but it is also fun, calming, and a therapeutic way for me to take a mental reset from the stresses of each day. I started running in 6th grade, when I was around 11-12 years old. I was inspired by my sister who is one year older than me and by my dad, who are both frequent runners. After seeing the amazing things they accomplished, I realized that I wanted to become a part of it too. |

Describe your best marathon memory.
Running alongside my dad (who was pacing) when I was running the New Jersey Half. |
Why do you pace?
I want to pace to help others achieve their goals in the same way that I was able to achieve mine thanks to the amazing pacers that helped me along the way during my previous races. I want others to be able to experience that triumph so I can experience it with them. I also want to be able to meet all types of people with the same passions that I have |

Tell us your best pacing experience.
I am excited because this will be my first pacing experience! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I will do my best to motivate and inspire everyone around me in any way I can and will strive to run at an even pace throughout the entire race. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
The race day is always the best day. All the hard months of training will pay off if you trust yourself and go with the flow. Just enjoy the moment. |

Anything else you’d like to share? |
My whole family enjoys long distance running! My dad, mom, twin brother, and sister all have experience in long distance running.

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I am a member of the Engen Learning nonprofit organization, which offers classes to students all over the country about subjects that aren’t normally taught in schools. I also frequently volunteer my time to tutoring fellow students in my school, and am an active member of many clubs, including the Asian American Cultural Club (which holds many performances for the community throughout the year). I also love music and try to perform for others whenever I can.
