Why do you run?

I run to stay grounded. Running is one of the few activities with no excuses. Your successes and failures are your own. Paradoxically the community is highly supportive and full of advice.

Describe your best marathon memory.

The more you take part the more friends you make. On the last NYC marathon I finished and then had the most fun cheering friends in their last mile.

Why do you pace?

Pacing is entirely different to racing. It is a way to support other people on their own journey chasing their own goals and pushing through their own challenges.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

When I hear “I couldn't have done it without you” it is quite special

Why should someone run in your pace group?

If you are aiming to beat my pace by a few minutes, you can stay with me and I'll let you know when to kick- usually after mile 20.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Conserve your mental energy, keep your posture, regulate your breathing,

Anything else you’d like to share?

Hold positive thoughts

What philanthropic activities do you have?
