Describe your best marathon memory.
|
I was running the Chicago Marathon and a man wearing a morph suit was running next to me dancing away. As we approached the first aid station he grabbed water and attempted to drink through the suit which was unsuccessful. I laughed and offered to assist him by unzipping the suit on the back of his shoulder where he couldn’t reach. He thanked me and we went through each aid station like this until mile 16 where he decided he had had enough of the suit after sweating through it for 16 miles and threw it away. His dancing greatly decreased after that and we finished the race together laughing. |
