Why do you run? |
Freedom. Running vacations are great! Favorite is to run in Cape Cod |
||
Describe your best marathon memory. |
My very first marathon – going past the sign that split off the half marathoners from the marathoners…I knew that moment, at the end of the day I would be able to call myself a “Marathoner” |
||
Why do you pace? |
I want to inspire and encourage others. I love to run and I love to help others get that “high” of meeting their goals. |
||
Tell us your best pacing experience. |
Ask me after March 5th. |
||
Why should someone run in your pace group? |
Together we are going to have a great time. In a recent run, someone told me about “alternate” goals. In a race the goal can change to something else and that can be just a good. I did this marathon in 80 degree heat…and I finished. |
||
Any tips for runners about to join your group? |

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I am a board member of the Jacksonville Half Marathon Committee. We raise $30 – 65K per year for various military charities. This year was only $30K due to having to change the race date at the last minute due to Hurricane Matthew. |
