Why do you run?
For my mental health and physical health because it provides a mental and physical challenge. Challenge is a big motivator for me personally. It’s and accessible sport that you can do in any season of life or location. |

Describe your best marathon memory.
I ran my first marathon with two friends from university. I hadn’t planned to do a full marathon at the time, but had just finished a half marathon and had been running consistently for two years. I decided to do the marathon, but I didn’t put any time expectation on myself, only to finish. I ended with a 4:17 and was extremely happy with the time as well as the overall experience. |

Why do you pace?
I have had many friends who have taken the time to run with me when I first started running. Their encouragement meant the world to me as a new runner and helped me gain confidence in the sport. I think that encouraging people no matter pace or experience level is one of the sweetest parts of the sport. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
If you want to have fun and need a hype-woman! |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?
It’s all about attitude! Studies say that looking at a smiley face while running can improve performance 2-3%. With that in mind, make sure you are “cheesing” extra hard! 😊 |
