Why do you pace?
|
There is more enjoyment in seeing others succeed than in succeeding myself .I also enjoy being part of the event, and meeting new people. |

Getting a big hug from someone who qualified for Boston. Seeing people cry at the finish line after accomplishing their goals. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because it will be fun! Running with me gives you the greatest chance of achieving your goals. |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?
|
Don’t be shy. Introduce yourself to your pacer. Ask questions. Introduce yourself to the other runners around you. You just might make a friend for life. |

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I am a board member of the Southern Arizona Roadrunners (the largest club in Arizona). I also direct two races each year, which raise money for handicapped athletics to improve children’s fitness. And I volunteer at many local races and have been a race official at college track meets.
