Why do you run?

I run because I like to be outdoors. It helps me unwind and de-stress. |

Crossing the finish line at Space Coast thinking that I did not make the qualifying time for Boston – then realizing that I did! |

Tell us your best pacing experience.
|
I paced a colleague from work on her first half-marathon in Melbourne Beach. She had a goal of 2:30 and succeeded. It was very rewarding. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
|
I am an evenly paced runner, encourager and supporter of other’s goals. I will push to keep them at their pace without going too fast, but understanding each one is on their own personal journey. |

Stay relaxed, focused and maintain a steady pace. |

It would be a privilege to be able to pace others and help them succeed.

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I attend mission trips with Celebrate Jesus and my local church. I meet with two ladies who are beginner runners to help them with their fitness goals. I help with the ministry for feeding the homeless for the holidays. I am a sponsored racer for Hydration for Humanity a charitable organization who builds wells in Africa.
