Why do you run?

 

I run for exercise, but more I run for mental health, clarity, and pure enjoyment of the Runner’s High that comes from a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Running provides peace and empowerment to achieve goals never thought possible!

Describe your best marathon memory.

 

Running my first marathon – Marine Corps Marathon Shadow Run – in the dusty, rocky path around Camp Arifjan after training with “The Minnows” to accomplish something I never thought possible. It was during this race that I fell in love with myself again through running and haven’t stopped since. Everyday I’m reminded on the precious gift that was given to me during this race.
