A quotation you like…

The world will offer you comfort, but you were not made for comfort- you were made for greatness. -Pope Benedict XVI

Why do you run?

For health and longevity, to push myself to get stronger and faster, and because it’s FUN!

Describe your best marathon memory.

Crossing the finish line with my soon-to-be-husband of the PIttsburgh marathon; it was his first marathon, and my second, and it was rough. He stuck with me and we got to the finish together, and it was such a relief to be done running and to have experienced the whole race together, through sickness and health. 😆

Why do you pace?

I love to encourage others to reach their goals, and push beyond what they thought was possible!

Tell us your best pacing experience.

Cranking up the music and singing and dancing my friend through her longest long run in preparation for a half marathon.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

We’re going to work hard, and have fun, and get to the finish line together!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

I generally use run/walk intervals, but if that’s not for you it’s ok! Run your own race, and the group will be there if it helps you, but it’s YOUR race.
