Why do you run?
Turns out I’m not so bad at it, ha! But especially in the winter I value how it gets me outside. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
My fastest 5k and 10k during the Boston Marathon were the last 5k and 10k. Toward the finish I spotted my wife and baby along the route and flashed them the “daddy” baby sign language sign and a friend captured a photo of the moment! |
Why do you pace?
I’ve actually crewed and paced at ultras but never a road event before, but it’s something I’d like to do more of! |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Pacing during ultras, uufda! I love pacing a runner toward their first finish of a certain distance. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I’m notorious for negative splitting races. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Ask me or any pacer what their plan is for hills, if they’ll go out slower and negative split, etc. |
