Why do you run? |
The health thing definitely doesn’t hurt, but I have also been running for, and coaching many community organization teams, so that’s a “meaning” bonus. Also, I love competing against myself. |
Describe your best marathon memory. |
I once took a client call while running the Boston Marathon. They knew I was running, and were quite surprised when I hopped on. (I just listened in) |
Why do you pace? |
I’ve benefited from pace teams in the past, so I’d love to pay it forward. Also, it might be a great way to meet some awesome people too. |
Tell us your best pacing experience. |
My friend was running a park race and gunning for sub 4. I told him that if he followed me I’d get him across the line. While he was dying out in the late miles, I pushed him through and he finished in 3:59:51 |

Why should someone run in your pace group? |
I’d like to believe I’m good company when I’m not trying to beat you 🙂 |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Know yourself. Know what you want, know your goal, and know when it’s time to pick it up or slow it down (obviously, only because of the weather). Follow what motivates you - not what motivates other people - and ride that motivation to your best possible race. |

Anything else you’d like to share? |
I’m looking forward to running with you!

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I used to be a Consultant on a nonprofit team, so I have affiliations with a number of nonprofit organizations. I’ve also volunteered, and done part-time work for a variety of organizations that deal with disabled, sick, and underprivileged populations, and I’ve been the running coach for several fund raising charity teams as well.
