Why do you run?
It makes me feel free, powerful, and it is one of the times when my mind both turns off and has the best ideas. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
The marathon felt easy, I still had a lot of energy in the tank at mile 24. I got to the finish line and felt so good I asked if I could go again. And to make it better, I was not sore the next day and got right back to training. |
Why do you pace?
There are many races where I have used a pacer as a guide or not felt my best and used a pace team as a motivator. It is my time to give back. I also have been a running coach and this is another way to give back. I also like the idea of training to a pace instead of using a negative split model as I would if I was racing the event. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
I am new to pacing so I don’t have any ones yet. I think just having the ability to help others continue to hold on when they want to quit or walk. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
If I was allowed to carry it, I would have my party speaker playing fun tunes while we ran. I like to encourage, teach and educate as we run. This can be ways to decrease effort during the race, help with motivation, or provide guidance so they can have their next best race. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
I can be dry and blunt. Do not take it the wrong way. It is who I am, and I will aim to provide you what you need throughout the race. |
Anything else you’d like to share? |
I love learning languages or using those that I am not a native speaker of. If anyone wants to talk French or Hungarian with me as we run, or help me with my German, Slovak or Turkish, I would be so happy.

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I have volunteered time at a local school in the physical education department. As for other activities, I tend to donate fund toward organizations that support soldiers and their families, animals (All Creatures Big and Small), and Hungarian Birthright (Hungarian Human Rights Foundation).
