Why do you run?

Describe your best marathon memory.

Kids running alongside the course from Marathon to Athens shouting “Bravo!” and making olive wreath crowns for runners.

Why do you pace?

I like cheering other people on when they need a lift!

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I paced the 50k for Marine Corps Marathon on the day of my 40th birthday. We had great weather, and I traveled from Germany to DC to do the race. Almost all my friends were there, and my husband Hans also paced a group.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Count on me for jokes and a positive attitude, and to keep us on pace and not get ahead of ourselves

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Have fun, don’t die.

I lived in Germany for two years and while I was there participated in a week-long Transalpine Run which was pretty cool
