Why do you run?

 

Running is my mindfulness practice. It gives me an excuse to listen to music for hours on end as well.

 racing with 30,000 people in Santiago Chile

Why do you pace?

 

 I cheered in middle school in high school and it makes me feel like a cheerleader. I love the empowerment that I can provide others.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

 

 Pacing the Roanoke, marathon and watching strong people around me come together as a group during the hard uphill miles

Why should someone run in your pace group?

 

 i’m guaranteed to make them smile and enjoy the race

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

 

 don’t start out too fast keep composed throughout the race

I grew up on a farm. I am a cowgirl at heart

What philanthropic activities do you have?

 I like to focus my efforts on food and hunger and insecurity. Volunteering at food banks!
