Breaking 3 at the 2013 Glass City Marathon after many attempts. Thousands of miles and two 3:00:01 marathons but still kept at it. |

Tell us your best pacing experience.
I had the opportunity to pace runners I had coached for a 5k group. It was great to be able to see them accomplish their goal after seeing them put in all their hard work. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I will keep my group at goal pace and keep the race positive as I’d like to think I’ve experienced most of the highs and lows runners might go through in a half and full marathon. |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I serve on the board for a nonprofit mentoring organization called Mountain Mentors. We mentor at-risk teens in the Toledo, Ohio area. After each mentoring year we either take the mentees on a week-long hike in the White Mountains of NH or on a 250-300 mile bike trip in Ohio.
