A quotation you like… |
To see you must open your eyes. |
Why do you run? |
Running is fun, it’s a great way to meet people and to sweat! |
Describe your best marathon memory. |
My best (ultra) marathon memory is from 2011 when I came across the finish line first for the Nashville Ultra 60K. I was so excited to have won the race as my legs hurt so bad during the race! |
Why do you pace? |
I love running and like to help others reach their goals.. oh and did I mention I love running?! |
Tell us your best pacing experience. |
In April 2016, I paced one of my good friends to a sub-4 marathon. He wanted to run just under 4 hours, so we ran, had a good time and came in right at 3:58:20. It was a perfect day! |
Why should someone run in your pace group? |
If people want encouragement, jokes, laughter and entertainment while running (to distract them from what’s going on with the marathon) then they should run with me. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group? |
Save some fuel for the back half! It’s not good to go out too fast and blow your race to smitherines. |

My wife and I live in a tiny house that we built! |
What philanthropic activities do you have? |
