A quotation you like…

Run for health

Why do you run?

Running makes me feel good about myself.

Describe your best marathon memory.

I ran 2 major marathons back to back in 2021. I first ran the Chicago marathon on October 10, then flew to Boston overnight to run my first Boston marathon on October 11.  I had hoped to finish the Boston marathon in 5 hours and surprisingly finished well within 4 hours.

Why do you pace?

To help others achieving their running goal.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

I was a pacer for the Asbury Park Half marathon on April 1 2023. There were some rain and strong wind conditions that day and many runners thanked me after the race. Some had hit their PR while following my pacing of 1:35.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I am consistent with my effort when I pace, and my split times are not much different.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Start the race with a slow pace and gradually reach your goal pace. Do not worry about the lost time from the beginning segment.

Anything else you’d like to share?

Listen to your body when you run.
