Why do you run?
To live a healthier life for my Kids |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Meeting a bunch of people at the Boston or Bust Half Marathon that would later become my “running group” when I run with Birmingham Track Club. |
Why do you pace?
I love to give back to the community, and it’s exciting to see people succeed in their goals. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
I’ve only paced 1 full and 1 half, the full was phenomenal because I got to pace the 4:00 group at 7 Bridges. When I started running 2 years ago I had wanted to pace the 4:00 group to experience that exhilaration with others as I helped them succeed in such a huge goal, being there for them was amazing! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Running with me will never be boring, I will talk to you and keep the conversation going for however long you are with me. This should help you keep your mind off the task at hand and help you to succeed. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
In general – if you have a goal stick to that goal with your pacer and don’t go out too fast, the worst thing you can do in a Marathon is to start out too fast. |
