Just 300 meters from the marathon finish, I collapsed from a minor heat stroke. When I woke up on the ambulance it was strangely the most calm and peaceful feeling I had. |

I was pacing a really fast visually impaired runner at an ultra, and at one point, I couldn’t see the road clearly. For a second, I started wondering, wait…do I have worse vision than the visually impaired guy? Then I realized I still had my sunglasses on. And it was already dark.
