Why do you run?
My dad has been running since as long as I can remember, and he has always encouraged me to run. As I’ve grown older, it gives me a sense of freedom each time I hit the road, plus, it’s a great way to bond with my family… and travel the world! |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Pointing out all the dogs spectating. |
Why do you pace?
I stumbled upon pacing for others, but pacers are always people who I have admired. My parents would share stories of their own pacing experience, and I couldn’t help but be inspired. It is their dedication to helping other runners that made me want to pace. If I can help someone reach their goal, that is the reason why I pace. |

Tell us your best pacing experience.
My best pacing memory was when I paced the Rome marathon with my sister, Kara. Not only did I get to run with her, but together we were able to encourage and inspire the runners from around the world who joined us – it was an incredible feeling seeing them reach their goal and knowing that we were able to play a small part in that. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
They should run in my pace group because I’ll stay focused on the watch, so they can truly enjoy the experience knowing that they’ll cross the finish line at their goal time. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Slow and steady finishes the pace, especially with my pace time! |
