A quotation you likeā¦ |
"In running, it doesn't matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say, 'I have finished.' There is a lot of satisfaction in that." Fred Lebow

Why do you run?
It gives me satisfaction with my life and helps release stress. I love being around people that are accomplishing running goals. Running is real to me, it has been part of my life for over 20 years. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Coming into the University of Nebraska stadium at the end of the Lincoln Marathon. The finish was on the 50 yard line. Making that left hard turn and speeding up as I went through the tunnel was really cool. |
Why do you pace?
It is fun to be around novice and experienced runners. I like getting people to that goal race time. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
I did Donna 26.2 and paced 3:50. We finished with one guy because everyone else was in front of us. He was such a great sport and we had a blast the whole run talking and chatting with the runners. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I know how to pace and we will stay constant throughout the whole race. I will engage the runners as I talk and chat about races I have done and how Galloway is a great way to do a marathon. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Be calm during the race. The average time will work out in the end. Don't get wrapped up in the race the first couple miles. |
