In my first and only marathon I hit a wall at mile 23. I was saved by a kind man who gave me two of his gels as he passed by. |

Why do you pace?
|
I enjoy running with others and supporting others on their journeys. People put in so much time training and pacing helps everyone execute right on their race day. |

I was part of the pacing team for double Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead MBE when he set a new Guinness WR for a marathon by a double amputee at the 2024 Chicago Marathon in 2:41:36. |
