Why do you run?
My 4th grad teacher introduced me to the sport and I fell in love with it. It is my form of relaxation and me time. Also, a lot of my friends run, so it’s also my social time. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Twin Cities was supposed to be my first marathon (it ended up being my third). The views of the lakes and changing leaves were beautiful. The environment was amazing, with the streets lined with fans for the entire race. I gave high-fives to all of the kids who asked and just had fun running. And I ran my PR! |
Why do you pace?
I’m excited to help others achieve their race time goals and meet new runners. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
N/A- This will be my first time pacing! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I am a really consistent runner in terms of pace and I’m really talkative, so I can guarantee I’ll entertain you for the duration of the race! |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Start out easy- it should feel way too slow early on. It feels a lot better when you negative split a race! |
Anything else you’d like to share? |
I love to run and get others to enjoy the sport as much as I do!
What philanthropic activities do you have? |
I am the president and social events chair of the Sioux Falls Area Running Club.
