Why do you run?
Health, happiness, sanity, travel, to meet others with similar interests and to help those that need help. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Disney Marathon-ran with wife Pacer Judy and oldest son Josh (his 1st marathon) while other son Jeremy (who is now a marathoner and ultra marathoner) and daughter, Haylee were our support. It was the best experience to cross the finish line and then be with my family in such a magical place! |
Why do you pace?
To share my experiences with others.. To encourage and support other folks while helping them achieve their respective goals whether it’s for time or to complete the event. To be a small part of the people’s lives. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon pacing the 4:00 hr group. So many folks were motivated to break that proverbial marathoning goal. It was fun to be a part of the experience and bring them in on time! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
To help me help them! I am great fun to run and chat with. I will keep them on pace in an effort to achieve their individual goals.
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
It’s not a competition with others. Run within yourself based on your respective training and abilities. Focus on the experience while having fun! Be confident but willing to adapt to the day. |
