What are you reading now?

Race reviews, travel guides, and anything that helps me decide where my running shoes will take me next!

Who do you train with?

My amazing We Run Happy running family! I’m lucky enough to coach and run alongside an incredible community of runners.

Personal goals

Complete a marathon in all 50 states, with Hawaii as my grand finale in 2027! An of course keep exploring the world one finish line at a time.

A quotation you like…

The world is too big to run the same route every day!

Why do you run?

Because running takes me places I never imagined, introduces me to incredible people, and reminds me that there’s always another adventure waiting around the corner.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Crossing the finish line of my sixth World Marathon Major and earning my first Six Star Medal was unforgettable. But earning my second Six Star Medal was even more special because waiting for me at the finish line were my two daughters and my handsome golden retriever, Mochi! Every finish line tells a different story, and I’m still writing mine.

Why do you pace?

Because helping someone reach a goal they’ve worked so hard for is just as rewarding as crossing my own finish line. I love turning nervous miles into happy miles!

Tell us your best pacing experience.

As a running coach, some of my favorite moments have been helping runners accomplish things they once thought were impossible. Seeing their faces light up when they realize they’re going to make it is priceless!

Why should someone run in your pace group?

Because we’ll do more than just count miles! Expect encouragement, positive energy, a few laughs, and a coach who genuinely care about getting you across that finish line. We run happy!

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Trust your training, start easy, and don’t let the excitement of the first few miles get the best of you. Fin your rhythm, enjoy the journey, and save that big smile for the finish line!

Anything else you’d like to share?

I’m a Venezuelan-born running coach, a two-time Six Star Finisher, and a marathoner on a mission to complete all 50 states. I believe the best way to discover a new place is on foot, preferably with a race bib and a finish line waiting!

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I’ve had the privilege of running for charity in Boston, London, Tokyo, and Houston, supporting causes close to my heart, including childhood cancer research, autism, and Braille literacy. I love that running can take us places, but even more, that it can make a difference in someone else’s life.
