A quotation you like… |
It doesn’t matter whose fault it is, if it is your responsibility to fix it.

Why do you run?
I like the fact that it’s hard. Most people it’s physically challenge. However, I believe most real runners believe the challenge is their mind. It also helps you prepare for other aspects of life, that mental strength is universally important to all aspects of life. It is a great time to work on your thoughts. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
When I hit the wall around mile 20, and I still told myself that I would not stop running until the finish line. My pace may have decreased but my spirit to finish it without stopping didn’t. Which to me was more important. |
Why do you pace?
Something that I learned is that not all has to be competition. I learned this when I pace a friend the St. Pete half-marathon and realize that I had enjoyed more this race than any other. Perhaps it’s true, if you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far you need others. |

Tell us your best pacing experience.
Paced my sister for her first 10k. She had never run more than 5k before. Loved the fact that she didn’t talk to me the whole time but at the end she recognized that she would not have been able to finish if it wasn’t for me to tell her she could the whole time. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I am very talkative and like to give out encouragement while running! I think this helps most of us forget about the fact that we have many miles to run, and instead just have fun. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Yes. Compete against me. You already know my time from the beginning, so just remind yourself that all you must do is make sure you are always next to me or in front of me! And if you can’t keep up, don’t get discourage, remember you are only running against yourself. |
