Why do you run?
I like to challenge myself to do hard things. I find peace and happiness during my runs and a sense of accomplishment from testing my limits. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Traveling across the country with several run club friends from Miami to run our first marathon in California. The energy from the crowd was amazing throughout and finishing with a 2:59:00 for my debut marathon made it an unbelievable experience. |
Why do you pace?
To help others achieve and often times surpass their goals. Inspiring others to believe in themselves is just as rewarding as achieving my own goals. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Paced my girlfriend on Dec. 31st to run a sub 1:45:00 half marathon after her unsuccessful attempt 2 weeks prior, which was her goal to end the year. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I have great energy and I like to motivate those around me to stay relaxed, focused, and determined to achieve their goals. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Enjoy the race. Remind yourself that the hardest part of running a marathon is the training so if you prepared well in training, you’ll reap the reward on race day. |

Anything else you’d like to share? |
After seeing several friends complete the Miami marathon last year, I was inspired to run consistently, find community and train for my first half and then full marathon before the end of the year. I was able to achieve and surpass those goals and now a year later having grown so much with running to have the opportunity to do this is a dream. |
