Why do you run?

It is a challenge to always try and do better than the last time. |

Describe your best marathon memory.
|
During my first marathon I saw my wife and kids around mile 23. I wasn’t sure I was going to make it but after I stopped for some quick hugs I found enough energy to get through that last 5k. |

Why do you pace?
|
I like seeing other people reach their goals. That initial moment of pure excitement and exhilaration is awesome to witness and it energizes me for my next race |

Tell us your best pacing experience.

A young man at the Woodlands wanted to go sub 3:00 and when he did he came back and thanked me multiple times. He was so determined and it was great to see him reach that goal. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
|
Meeting your goals with a group can prove to be far easier than going it alone. |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?
|
Just relax, take deep breaths, stick with me until at least mile 20 and if you feel good at mile 22 by all means leave us behind |
