Why do you run?
I started running in my early 20s just to see if I could complete a marathon. I was instantly hooked, and threw myself into every aspect of running: different distances, volunteering, coaching, pacing, etc. I love that running always offers a challenge, and after several years, through running, I continue to discover new personal strengths. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Too many to choose from! |
Why do you pace?
I pace to help others reach their goals. Even though I haven’t met many of the runners before we start our 26.2 mile journey, it’s amazing to witness the end results of their months of hard work. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
I can’t pick just one, but every marathon I pace I have someone in my group hit a PR or complete their first marathon. Each time it’s just as exciting as the first time. |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Because I love people! I guarantee I’ll help you reach your goal, and we’ll have fun getting there. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
As cliché as it is, trust your training, and stay focused on what you want to accomplish during that race |
