A quotation you like…

"The marathon does not owe you anything."

Why do you run?

Running is where I feel most like myself. As a former professional ballerina, I grew up chasing precision and discipline, and the marathon gives me that same feeling in a different way: you show up, you do the work, and the road tells you the truth. It has made me stronger, calmer and more grateful, and I get to see the world one start line at a time.

Describe your best marathon memory.

Amsterdam 2025, where I ran my PR of 3:05. Everything lined up: patient early kilometres, a steady middle, and a finish where I still felt in control. It reminded me that the best races come from trusting the process, not forcing it.

Why do you pace?

Pacing lets me give back to a sport that has given me so much. I love being the steady presence that helps someone get through a hard moment and finish a goal they've worked months for. Seeing a runner cross the line on their target time is as rewarding as running my own race.

Tell us your best pacing experience.

In May 2026 I paced the 3:30 group at the Ottawa Marathon and crossed in 3:29:32. Then in October I paced the 3:25 group at the Montréal Marathon, finishing well ahead of target. Both days, nothing beats the moment a runner who was struggling around kilometre 35 realizes they're going to make it.

Why should someone run in your pace group?

I run even splits, I stay calm when things get tough, and I keep the energy positive. With 18 marathons behind me, I know every phase of the race, from the nervous start to the last hard kilometres, and I know how to talk people through them. You'll get a plan, steady encouragement and a pacer who is fully in your corner.

Any tips for runners about to join your group?

Don't go out faster than the pace, even if you feel amazing early on. Stay close to me and the sign, take your fuel and water on schedule, and trust the plan. The marathon really starts after 30 km, so save your energy for then. And enjoy it, because it's a privilege to be out there.

Anything else you’d like to share?

I'm a Pilates instructor and running coach from Montréal, and I love combining strength, mobility and smart training so runners can stay healthy for the long run. I'd be thrilled to spend a January morning in Miami helping people reach their goals.

What philanthropic activities do you have?

I volunteer my time to coachgroups of young women and encourage new runners in my community and share free training tips.
