Why do you run?
I run because it keeps me feeling healthy, relaxed, and balanced. I like running because it is simple, can be done any season, and just feels natural. I like running because there is a new challenge every day. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Lakefront Marathon – Milwaukee, WI. My first sub 3 attempt. I trained hard all season and knew at that point I could make it. I proceeded to make the last 10K of the race my fastest 10K. |
Why do you pace?
I like to be able to help others in their pursuit of their goals. Everyone has an individual goal, and it feels great to be a part of making that goal happen. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
I have dealt with a wide variety of conditions racing marathons, including 88 degree temperatures, extremely hilly terrain, and just plain flat. I’ve learned to recognize when I’m pushing to hard, haven’t drank enough fluids or vice versa. I think I can both motivate people to do their best and also help people recognize when they might want to back off. I have plenty of interesting stories to share, and always want to hear new ones. |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Stick with your race plan, don’t change things last minute because of last minute doubts. |
