Why do you run?
Running is a great source of energy, it gives me the mental break I need, recharges my energy, and makes me feel strong. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
Suddenly seeing my goal-time pacer in front of me with half a mile to go, realizing that I will be able to finish ahead of my goal. |
Why do you pace?
I really enjoy helping others towards success and keeping a consistent pace can definitely improve performance. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
Running the first 4 miles into the wind, trying to block as much wind as possible for the group. A pacer is there to help you, so take advantage of that! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
I will do my best to push everyone in my group towards a great race, and make it as comfortable as possible by keeping the pace steady and a positive attitude. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
The longer you can enjoy the race, the shorter the race will feel and the better you feel throughout the race. If smiling helps you, keep smiling. If talking to me helps you, talk to me. If running with music helps you, do that. |
