Describe your best marathon memory.
There are so many, but the most powerful memory is the first I ever had back in Zuerich 2009. The first 4 miles were an out and back through a tunnel to celebrate its grand opening (The Swiss love building tunnels), and on the way out I ran by the elite African women on their return trip. I started tearing because I saw how fast and effortlessly they were moving and realized they were running to support themselves. They motivate me before every race. I wish running was my job and sure try to run like it is. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
Because running with a pacer is the easiest way to hit your goal time during a race. You don’t have to think, let someone else do it for you. |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?
Come trained, nourished, rested, and motivated and let me get you the rest of the way there. |
