Why do you run?
|
My fondest memories – and best friendships – all come from running. There’s no better way to explore a new city. Running brings people together. |

Crossing the line at Richmond in 2014, my first marathon. I barely made it in one piece. Aside from all the pain I felt amazing! |

Running with first time marathoners at the CD City Sports Marathon Training group – meeting new people from all walks of life and helping them prepare for the big 26.2. |

Why should someone run in your pace group?
|
I like to remind people that running is FUN. If we aren’t having fun, we’re doing it wrong. I keep my runs lighthearted, but serious enough that everyone walks away with a special memory. |

Any tips for runners about to join your group?
|
Goals are great, but they are only numbers. If you make it to race day, you’re already a winner. |

I just ran the Marine Corps Marathon for St. Jude Children’s hospital – a truly wonderful organization that is worth every penny of support you can spare. |
