Why do you run?
To feel nature and four seasons. |
Describe your best marathon memory.
First BQ at Houston. It was the moment my long time dream came true. |
Why do you pace?
I love being with people. I am good at running at even pace and it would be nice if someone can use me. I have been also a runner’s guide mainly for blind runners who are coming to NYC marathon from Japan, and I have done it more than 15 times. I feel it is not only rewarding but pacing someone is the action I also get something special from other runners. |
Tell us your best pacing experience.
I paced at Seoul Marathon in Korea. I don’t speak the language, but we communicated by spirits. It was so touching when I achieved the goal with other runners! |
Why should someone run in your pace group?
Because I can run even pace. |
Any tips for runners about to join your group?
If you want to run even pace, come to join me! |
